Virtual address IP conflicts

Hello,
I've setup 2 hosts with a NLB and I'm getting a IP address conflicts
messages in time to time. My NLB is configure on a single NIC on both server
and I use multicast mode with IGMP. Both servers are identical.
Generally speaking, the NLB is working great when both servers are up. The
moment one server reboot or the cable got disconnected, the conflict appear.
When this happens, I need to reboot both servers at the same time.
After looking on the Net, I've disabled remote control and I narrow down my
port rules to what I really need, but I don't think this will solve my
problem. I've looked in my network to make sure my IP addresses were unique
and they are. My VIP in not the principle IP on both server. I've used the
NLB manager to generate the nodes. There is 3 NLB nodes connected to the same
switch. Obviously, I have the same problem on the other nodes, but the VIP
addresses are not the same.
What am I missing here and what needs to be done to solve this issue?
Thank you very much for you comments,
Fred
