Hi there! I am new to the boards.
We have a clustering issue and hope you can help.
We have a A/P 2 node 03 R2 sp2 cluster.
It is just doing file shares.
We have 3 groups each with its own virtual server name IP and disk
Apps Group
apps network name , x: disk, unique IP , apps file share name
File Group
filesrv network name , t: disk, unique IP , files file share name
Users Group
users network name , k: disk, unique IP , users file share name
The issue is if we have a share created it is accessible thru the other
virtual server names and the server and cluster itself.
You can use Access Based Enumeration to help control the view, however, if the user have permissions to all of the shares, then the results will be the same as you have now.
This behavior has been replaced in Windows Server 2008 Failover Clustering.
