I am installing a server cluster. The cluster network name is failing
to come online with the following error.

Cluster resource 'Cluster Name' failed to go online because its
associated computer account (INGBTCPIC5XX093) exists in Active
Directory and the Kerberos authentication is not enabled for the
resource. Client applications that are using Kerberos based
authentication (either directly or through the Negotiate security
package) will fail to authenticate when contacting a service by this
network name.

To bring the resource online, either enable Kerberos authentication or
delete the computer account.

Any help to resolve the issue will be highly appreciated.

So, did you delete the computer account?

No, the network name is registered in the DNS.

The error, to me, seems to be stating that the account exists in AD but the
Network Name is not enabled to use the account. So, back to my statement,
did you try to delete the computer account in AD? After all, that is what
the error is pointing out as a possible solution, or to enable Kerberos
authentication for the Network Name resource.

Hi Russ Kaufmann,

Sorry for not responding to the conversation.

I am restarting this conversation as I am facing the same issue again.
Yes I did delete the computer account from the AD.
