I agree with John. I had a project where i had to move two 8 node clusters
from production to a lab domain. I was glad I was moving to a lab. I had to
rebuild one cluster completely, and evict and recreate half of the other.
And I was just moving to a different domain, not renaming the nodes.

To be honest, your best bet IMO is to blow it up and start over. One
reason
is that you need to evict a node in order to rename it, so you're already
1/2 way there just trying to accomplish one of these changes.
If you can take the outage, I'd recommend starting over...or better yet,
build a new cluster with updated hardware in your new domain and then
migrate your applications over.

Hi everybody. I have a Windows Server 2003 cluster with 3 servers. At ahave
minimum, the servers need to have their computer names changed, and then
the domain they belong to changed. I'd also like to update the clustername
to reflect our new naming scheme so it matches the actual server names
closer. I inherited this cluster, so i'm not sure what all this entails.
Any advice or good articles I could read on how to do this without
blowing
everything up?
