Well, first you are going to have to get in the right mindset. If you want high availability, you need to invest in it....properly.
The hardware you have sounds like a 'home grown' solution and not one that is on the Cluster Hardware Compatibility List...which is a requirement to be supported by Microsoft.

Then, you need the correct version of the OS which is, at a minimum, Enterprise Edition of the server product. Standard Edition supports Network Load Balancing (NLB), but not MSCS.
Then, using a free e-mail server.......probably not the best idea for high availability......if you could even get it to work.
So, I would say......back to the drawing board and think hard about what you are trying to accomplish and then make the correct investments.
Then, start here - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/technologies/clustering/resources.mspx
Have a great holiday.
Thanks.

Hello
I am testing the possibility of creating a cluster because I am in the following situation:
I have two 1U Server:
Via C3 900
1,5Gb RAM (512x3)
2x80Gb EIDE HDD (Raid 1 via Ms Raid Software)
Windows 2003 Standard Edition
I need to install a Mailserver service (maybe probably the HMailserver free solution).
I need to configure it in high availability, is possible to do a solution using native cluster services ?
I need to configure a system that in case that one server crashes, the mail server system works ok.
How can I do?
thank you
.
