seems to me that you still have a "Quorum disk" in your Cluster Group, but
in a previous post you told us you are using a MNS quorum.

If you are using a MNS quorum then you do not need a Quorum disk in your
Cluster group

Obviously, you do not need to have both nodes online in a
cluster...unless
you're using a 2-node MNS cluster, which we'll assume is not the case.
Though, if you are only able to get the cluster working with both
nodes
online, this suggests to me that you are probably connecting to the
EVA
using SCSI, can you confirm this? If so, you are running into a
termination
issue or you need to adjust HBA target values so they are different.

When cluster service fails to start, it will prevent you from
accessing its
disks as they are still under control of the cluster by the cluster
disk
driver. If you're using Fibre HBAs, you might try checking the
connectivity
to the cluster disks after rebooting by disabling the cluster disk
driver.

You should probably also take a look at the cluster.log file to get an
idea
of why the cluster service is failing to start on reboot. This is
where I
would start.

I am probably as new as you are with the cluster.
but I know that the cluster service wont come up unless both nodes
are up
and running. you should however be able to access the drives with
only one
node up even when cluster services are down.
I think you need to turn off one node, make sure drives are
accessible
from
the other node before continuing with this. I don't think this has
anything
to do with the cluster as that point.
