While true, Clusters don't carry about partitions ;)

GPT disks also support up to 128 partitions rather than the 4 primary
partitions limited to MBR. Also, GPT keeps a backup of the partition
table at the end of the disk. Basically, MBR has been around for many
many many years, and GPT is it's updated twenty-first century counterpart.
GPT will someday be the standard since it's not a Windows specific spec
and EFI uses GPT style partition tables.

So there is no advantage of converting to GPT unless I need over 2TB or
more partitions/disk right?

Can someone please explain what a GPT disk is and how that compares toGPT is in comparison to MBR. A GPT disk can support larger than 2 TB
basicc and dynamic disks?
volumes where MBR can not.
A GPT disk can be basic or dynamic, just like an MBR disk can be basic
or dynamic.
