Slow failover on Microsoft Virtual Server Cluster

I would appreciate any insight into an issue I'm trying to solve. I recently set up a two
node Virtual Server cluster. I have two groups within the cluster: one called "ClusterGroup"
which contains the Cluster IP Address, Cluster Name and Quorum disk; the other group
contains the shared disk that contains the virtual server .VHD files and the scripts for
each Virtual Server that I have in the cluster (the scripts are dependant on the shared disk).

When this was first set up and I was testing failover with one or two guests, the failover
was great. Downtime was just a few seconds and then the group would fail over to the
other node. But the failover is getting slower and slower as I add more guests to the
cluster. I'm up to 5 guests now with at least 3 more to add to the cluster. Failover now is
taking 1-2 minutes. It's at the point now where I reboot one node and it's back up before
the guests fail over to the other node.

I readily admit that I may not have this set up optimally, but I'm not certain how else to do
it. I can't seem to break the guests into separate groups because the guests need to
depend on the shared disk to fail over properly.

Any suggestions?
