Sounds like you're referring to grid computing or high performance computing
(HPC), which MSCS certainly does not do. Microsoft cluster service does not
combine the power of multiple servers to provide a single "super computer".
Compute cluster is Microsoft's version of a HPC solution. You can read more

Ok, so we are looking at the possibility of upgrading our WAN enough toat
consolidate our servers into one datacenter.
The questions is:
Can we create a 'cluster' of similiar servers (make/model) so that one
logical instance of server 2003 spans multiple physical servers?
This would allow an application which currently has 10 seperate installs
different locations to share the physical resources of the 'combined'servers
so that one install of the application could handle the increased workloadof
serving workstations over the entire WAN.
Any thoughts?
