There is now way with Microsoft clustering. High Availability does not equal 100% availability.

Thanks Chuck, that's the standard practice.. yet. during the 'failover' time - technically app is not working.
So while I'm accessing the file share say copying 10gb file, and cluster failover the filecopy will failed.
I'm looking for active/active setup that I can take down node without impacting the app.
As I mentioned - Oracle RAC for DB, now - I'm trying find out what's the best way for other cluster resources.

Typically you patch cluster nodes by moving all resources to a node, patch the other nodes and then move the resources over to a 'patched' node and then patch the final node.
