In this situation, I would suggest to start over.
If this is W2K3, do a "cluster node /forcecleanup" on both nodes.
Then install MSCS from scratch.

Hello,he
ok - I have a problem that really needs to get fixed asap. Basically, my
work colleugue was building a 2 node cluster (with SAN storage) and when
added in the second node to the cluster all the disks failed.on
so, he evicted the second node - and then wiped the disks using diskpart
the first node - he never evicted the first node form the cluster thushas
causing the cluster to delete itself.
Now, he added the disks back to the first node but he can't start cluadmin
since it says that there is already a cluster assigned to this node but
RPC errors connecting to it!cannot
Basically, I guess me question is - how do I delete a cluster that I
gain access to via cluadmin?? or, how can I re-connect the cluster? I havea
feeling that the drive we use for the quorum is corrupt - but that means I
have to ask the storage team and they will take ages getting back to me.
any, any help would be beneficial!
many thanks,
lara400
