I ran the KB931940 and it does not detect any hotfixes that would prevent SP2
from installing.

enough money to buy production servers.

Everything that was on the server is SP2 compatible, I even run the tool to
check to see if it is SP2.

space should not be an issue, we have 30 GB free.

Nothing in the event log, only thing that is showing anything is the log to
the server pack. It is hanging on the backing up registry part during the
installation.

What is running on this cluster? How much space is left on the C Drive?
