To add to that:
The cluster.log file is a "fixed size file" and therefore overwrites itself.
Ensure you take a copy of the cluster.log file immediately when an error
occurs, else you might lose valuable information for troubleshooting.
Alternatively you can set/increase the fixed size of this cluster.log file
using a system wide variable. Or you can set a system wide variable to
ensure a new cluster.log file is created every time the service start.

The cluster log is in normal english...it just takes experience totranslate
it properly. Oh, and don't forget that the cluster.log logs events in GMTand
time to make it even more confusing.
My advice would be to ignore everything in the cluster logs except WARN
ERR events. These are always capitalized so if you search using "matchcase"
you should be able to find these events pretty easily. These lines willor
typically give you the most information about the reason why the resource
clussvc is failing and will typically exit with some sort of error code. For
example:this
WARN [INIT] Failed to join cluster, status 53
If you then use a 'net helpmsg <error code>' command, you will see why
INIT process failed.the
If you're confused by GUM, INIT, etc messages, you might want to review

Hi,whatever
Is there a way of reading the cluster.log file in "normal" english!? All
this Gum stuff can be really annoying to translate into english (or
language you use).
Just wondering if there is a tool out there.
Many thanks,
lara400
