Issue with KB 898790

I just applied the 898790 hotfix this weekend and whenever I reboot the
server after the hotfix is installed it hangs at "Applying computer
settings..." for nearly 2 hours. Then after I login it states the same
thing "Applying computer settings..." for quite some time. Then when I
tried to restart the server it hangs at "Logging off". If I boot into safe
mode with networking I can login normally and uninstall the patch. Once the
hotfix is removed it works fine. I installed the hotfix on the other nodes
in the cluster and do not have any issues. The cluster is running Exchange
2003 SP2.

Anyone seen this issue or have any ideas on how to troubleshoot it?
