Is the 'task scheduler' service enabled and running on the node where the resource is failing?

Hey everyone;

would love some help.
i have a cluster of 2 itanium servers running IA64 version of windows 2003
(with SP1). they are connected to an HP EVA 5000 SAN. i have followed the
instructions here:

and everything seems great! they are working. i even editted the schedule.
HOWEVER. if i go into cluster admin and try to MOVE the group (which contains
only the disk, a share resource and the shadow copy resource) to the other
node in the server, it TRY's to fail over... then fails, then reverts back to
the original server. i receive the following error message:

so... i can see that the failover seems to fail because it cannot create the
scheduled task on the other server for the volume shadow copies... do i have
to manually create the scheduled task? shouldn't it create itself?

any thoughts?
