Is clusprep only going to be for new installation or will it work like ExBPA
so you can run it on existing cluster environments.

Everything that for all the information.

I have been waiting for clusprep for years now - do you really think it
will
ever come, it would be so nice to have a tool that tells you want hotfixes
are recommended for a cluster. I spent about 1 hour yesterday going
through
my new server trying to find what hotfixes are needed for a cluster
environment.

Sometimes I think we are back in the DOS age.

So with 32-bit use the /PAE switch.

32 or 64 bit? 32 YES! 64 NO!

You might want to change the default boot timeout to be different on the
nodes so they don't come up at the exact same time after a total power
failure.

Look for ClusterPrep due out this year to help answer this question...

We have an windows 2003 R2 server with 8 GB of memory. Is it a best
practice to added "/PAE" to the boot.ini? Is there any other switches
or
registry entries for this? This is on a 32-bit OS.

Thanks
