As to why it's not working....
Would you mind doublechecking your spelling? The spelling of the command
you used in your posting is not what the cluster service is looking for.
"Peroid" should be spelled "Period"
command ( cluster res "Cluster IP Address" /prop
RetryPeroidOnFailure=900000
Hope it helps!

Hi,
My problem is I have a intermitten issue with network that I am
troubleshooting. This issue in causing my Cluster IP address to go offline
and it does not come back online until I manually bring the resource back
online. I found the following KB article 228923 as a interm solution
however
the resolution does not work. I have followed this article step by step.
I
have restarted the cluster services on both nodes after I have typed in
the
command ( cluster res "Cluster IP Address" /prop
RetryPeroidOnFailure=900000
) to enable the RetryPeroidOnFailure. When I type cluster res "Cluster IP
Address" /prop after I made the changes and restarted the cluster services
on
both nodes the changes do not appear. However after I typed the command I
did
receive a message saying that the changes will not take place until the
Cluster Resource is brought back online. Again, after I take the resource
offline and back on line the changes do not take place. At this point the
only thing I have not done is reboot each cluster node.
Thanks!!!!
Kevin
