That document is helpful, we were are in a Windows Server 2000
environment with MSMQ 2.0. I haven't found any documentation on that.
Have you run across that documentation?

We have a production environment with Microsoft Clustering Service that is
controlling two machines: SER1 and SER2. The name of the cluster is FILE.
Further we have a private MSMQ on each machine that needs to accept queue
messages.

We are using DIRECT=OS: to write to the queue on each machine (from VB6).
When we write directly to the SER2 machine it works fine. The message is
put
in the queue properly. However, we need to be able to write to the FILE,
and
have the cluster decide which machine to put the message to (depending on
which cluster is currently active).

When we try to write to the FILE using the DIRECT=OS: the message hangs in
the Outgoing Queues of the sending server. The outgoing queue status
hangs
at "waiting to connect"

Does anyone have any suggestions for resolving this issue?
