The DHCP service on a cluster is single instance only. You can only create
one clustered DHCP resource which means DHCP will run on only one node at a
time and the databse file it uses will be located on the shared disk and it
will replicate registry keys. So, for redundancy, you should create another
DHCP server either on another cluster or on a standalone server and then
configure your 80\20 split.

The reason for using a clustered DHCP service is that we already are
planing to implement a File / Print cluster, and later on add the DHCP
service to the cluster. By doing that we will get a high available service
for DHCP wich is good for the reason that the DHCP service will be
centralized and will service aprox. 2500 clients.
Is there any nice guide to use for setting up a DHCP service in a
clustered environment, I mean if I also will use the split (80/20) method.
Should I define DHCP-resources on both nodes, with one node servicing 20%
and the other 80% or should I only set upp one DHCP-resource on one of the
nodes?
Thx in advance

Hi, I'm planning to add DHCP service to a Win 2003 Active-Active
cluster. Is it possible, are there any issues doing that?.
Yes it is possible. It is much more cost effective, though, to use a
split scope implementation.
