If I understand you correctly, you will have a total of 6 servers
locally (3 two node clusters?) and want to have a single server in the
DR site be the 3rd node for each of the 2 node clusters?
What type of storage are you using locally? What are you using for
data replication to the DR site? Do you believe your single server and
storage in the DR Site is powerful enough to handle email, website and
applications? Is the solution you are considering listed on the
Microsoft Geographically Dispersed Cluster Solution web site?
http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/catalog/server/default.aspx?subID=22&xslt=categoryProduct&pgn=b55095f4-71f3-4b26-98b1-05f3a9506d0d
Unless you consider a third party solution, you may want to have a look
at this article.

If you are considering third party solutions, what I have implemented
for customers in your situation is a VMWARE ESX server in the DR site
and use LifeKeper Data Replication to replicate the application data to
the VM's in the DR site. The two local nodes can either be attached to
shared storage or be pure replication with no shared storage. Because
we do not use MSCS, your OS and Applications do not need the Enterprise
Edition to support clustering.

Thanks in advance,
I need to have a geograficly dispersed configuration for disasters.
I would like to have a 2 server local cluster for...
websight
applacations
and I would like to know if a remote server could be a passive member for
ALL 3 clusters.
this is a new project and hardware costs are getting out of hand.
