take a look at this document to give you a better idea of what a cluster is

hello! I'm very new to clustering and trying to figure out the way it
functions. Is it possible to create a perfect mirror between 2 servers?
I
want to have an exact replica so no matter if its files storage or
applications like SQL, they will be mirrored to the passive server
bit-by-bit. And obviously with auto failover. Is this possible? can
someone advise?
.
