Hi Oriol,
We recommend the Cluster be setup as Member Servers that are part of a
domain infrastructure. Because you can set them up as Domain Controllers,
but the intricacies and headaches due to time wasted troubleshooting
problems are much greater than if you were to set them up as Member Servers
from the very beginning.
Read the following article for more details and also read it's embedded
reference articles:
281662 Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 cluster nodes as domain
controllers

Hope this helps,

Ok, and what is the best solution if you don't have acces to a DC? Because
if i remember well, one of the requeriments to mount a cluster in W2003 is
to form part of a domain as administrator....
Thanks

Not the best solution for a production environment, but if you must,
make them both DCs.

hi to all,
sorry for my english
I have 2 hp DL 370 (with windows 2003 R2 enterprise edition) and a SAN
device MSA500 G2.
I have correctly installed and connected all and working good. I have
only
one problem. I haven't PDC and DNS dedicated on this network, I need to
use
the two server like a PDC.
For make this configuration, must I enable a local PDC on all node?
Fore
example node1 --> PDC and node2 --> BDC ? Is correct?
grazie
