So Oracle and the other Application are in different Groups on the cluster?
What drive letter does each use?

Hi,
What is a DWH? An Oracle thing right?
ANSWER: DWH is a Datawarehouse but it is not very important.
Are both servers cabled into the W: Drive and configured for clustering?
ANSWHER: Yes, W is in a drive cabine. Then we have defined ORACLE Cluster
and Application Cluster (drive W and other applications)...
If ORACLE Cluster changues to another server then if we changue
Application
Cluster to the same server then all it's OK!!!!!!!
But, How can I do it automaticallly???????

Hi,
We have Windows 2003
We have Oracle with Cluster (Windows). Server1 and Server2.
Then we have a DWH and we have some external tables. The external
tables
files are on the ââ?¬Å?Wââ?¬Â? Drive. it is All OK!!!!...
BUT WHEN ORACLE FAILS AND IT GOES TO THE ANOTHER SERVER (for ex.
Server2)
THE EXTERNAL FILES FAIL BECAUSE THE FILES ARE ON Server1 on W Drive. If
we
move manually the W Drive resource to Server2 then all it is OK, but we
want
to do it automatically!!!!!!
HOW CAN I DI IT AUTOMATICALLY????????
Thanks in advance!!!!!!
