Re: issue moving cluster group to one node?

I have not tried evicting the node from the cluster group yet. I think it is
an issue with the network name. I unchecked the kerberos box and rechecked
and now I am gettng the following error:

source: clussvc
catagory: network name resource
event ID: 1207
The computer account for CLuster resource '(virtual servername) Network
Name' in domain xxxx.com could not be configured for the following reason:
Unable to decrypt resource data
The text for the associated error code is: An internal error occurued
The cluster Service Account may lack the proper access rights to AD. The
domain admin should be contacted.

I have checked the access for the cluster account and it is the same for
both nodes. I have checked most of the security settings for the virtual
server objects and physical computer objects? I can't figure out what I am
missing.

I unchecked the kerberos box and tried to bring it on line and then

Thanks, I forgot to select the notify me button....
before I try evicting the node and readding it, will there be any issues
with removing the node that I am having issues with from the domain, deleting
the computer account and readding it? Do I need to evict the node first?
Thanks

The proposed process sounds right...evict, remove from domain, rejoin
domain, add as new node to existing cluster...

I have a 2003 server active active 3 node exchange cluster with 2 virtual
servers and am having issues failing one virtual server to one specific
node.
Example: Virtual server A will fail or move to physical servers 1, 2, and
3
with no issues. Virtual server B will fail or move to physical servers 2
and
3. When I move virtual server b to physical server 1 all disks come on
line
and then it immediately fails back to the server it was on? I am getting
the
following error:

error event ID 1207 source: clusSvc

The computer account for cluster resource E2PSSSGMSX5 Network Name in
domain
nrtss.com could not

be configured for the following reason:

Unable to decrypt resource data
the text for the associated error code is: An internal error occurred
The Cluster Service Account may lack the proper access rights to Active
Directory. The domain

administrator should be contacted to assist with resolving this issue.

The only thing I have been able to find on this is physical 1's computer
account is bad and I need to reset it and rejoin it to the domain? If I
do
this do I first need to evict the server from the cluster, rejoin the
domain
and add it back in?
Thanks
S
