Re: install sp1 in cluster

We do the best we can for testing in our test environment. However, we
don't have matching hardware that is run in production and therefore do not
have an exact duplicate of what is in production...only have virtual
machines in the test environment.

So, doing as much testing as I can, research on driver compatibility, asking
as many questions to the experts as I can, making the necessary backups,
etc., in the end it needs to be installed to fix another issue....so, as bad
as it may sound, my question is directed at doing this on a production node,
however just the passive production node (in case something does not go
right). Can I install sp1 on the passive node, move the services to that
node, and let it run for awhile making sure all is good before I install it
on the other node without causing issue by having 2 nodes at different SP
levels?
Thanks for your help.
