Anyone else out there with the same cluster problem?

Hi!
Configuration:
Three DELL Poweredge 6650 with 12 GB RAM, four Xeon MP 2 Ghz CPU:s, two HBA
FCA 2214 (HP branded Qlogic adapters), two internal Gigabit Broadcom adapters
on the motherboard and one extra network card for the HB.
The servers are connected to HP EVA 5000 Array.
We are using Veritas SF 4.3 with DMP and MSCS option.
Windows 2003 Ent RTM with sec fixes. MSCS with majority node set. Multicast
is disabled because our network hw is not supporting this function.
Network hardware is HP and of the following models:
HP PC 9315
HP PC 5308
Extreme Summit E3
One VLAN for the public NIC and one VLAN for the private NIC. Both VLANS are
created in the same hardware. All nics are full duplex where it possible and
auto on gigabit - the same config is in the switches.
Broadcom adapters are teamed.
SQL Server 2000 with SP3a on all three nodes
The hardware operating system and cluster is installed by DELL.
Veritas SF is installed by Veritas
SQL Server is installed by myself.
All server are connected to a VLAN spanned over 20 km.
Now to the problem:
After a while we discovered a lot of the following errors:
Eventid ID:
1122
1123
Source:
ClusSvc
After a discussion with our network staff and Ms we decided to disable
Multicast.
For a while it all worked out fine, but about month later we got the
following errors:
Event id: 1118
Source: ClusNet
Event id: 7031
Source: Service Control Manager
Event id: 1070
Source: ClusSvc
Event id: 5783
Source: Netlogon
Event id 1122 & 1123 is still there. As I can understand there is still a
network problem. I have opened a case with Ms and they also agree with this -
it is the network that is the problem.
When those errors occur the virtual SQL server fails from node a to node b.
Does anyone of you have any tips, adivces? I am grateful for any hint!
Kind regards
////Mike
