Can not ping Node1 to Node2 after failover

Have an NLB with 2 nodes were both nodes are using 1 network card and running
in MultiCast mode. The NLB is working fine BUT when I unplug one of the nodes
and plug it in again the following occurs:

Cant ping Node1 to Node2
Cant ping Node2 to Node3

Can ping all other devices on the network from both Node1 and Node2
Can ping local IP address of Node1 and Node2 from any other network device.

If we restart Node 1 and Node2 the NLB works fine again. The servers are by
the way HP servers with built in NICS.

We are using a switch called: Extreme Netwoks Summit 400-48t
Suppose it is a layer 3 switch.

Configuration looks like this:

NLB:
Cluster IP address: 10.1.1.100
MultiCast mode
Host: Node1 and Node2

Node1:
IP address 10.1.1.10
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Def Gateway: 10.1.1.1

Node1:
IP address 10.1.1.11
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Def Gateway: 10.1.1.1
