Re: one of the clusters powered down



Seriously, you HAVE to have the other node in a cluster powered up and
waiting (if you're running an Active/Passive config). This failover
determination occurs when the Passive node no longer receives a configured
number of heartbeats from the Active node. Assuming the worst, the
resources hosted on the Active node are then failed over to the Passive
node, making it now the new Active node.

Make sense?
