Help! I have (2) Poweredge servers connected to a
Powervault disk array. I did the hardware configuration
using Dell's best practices and setup the quorum as a (2)
disk mirror. The (11) remaining disks are configured RAID
5. Before I started configuring the w2k cluster, I
powered up each server separately and made sure that both
servers could connect and write to the array. I installed
node 1 and everything worked great. I started the install
on node 2 and it failed with error id: 53. I checked the
kb and found that the remote registry service wasn't
started. Fixed that. Now, node 2 can no longer "see" the
array. It isn't present in disk manager. I checked at
boot and it recognizes the array and both logical drives,
but when the OS starts, it no longer sees the disks. I've
tried uninstalling cluster services from both computers
and wiping out the array and reconfiguring from scratch.
nada. Any ideas? Am I missing something when doing the
uninstall and reconfiguration?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
