Dear All,
We are facing a issue with some of the remote locations for our
Organisation
where we does not have Domain Controllers installed. The users out there
gets
authenticated to some remote domain Controllers. The issue we are facing
is
that the users are not able to login, access shared folder and printers
which
are local to that location if the link to other location is down. As
because
the users are not able to get to the domain controllers they are not able
to
login. They can login if they remove the network cable using Cache
credentials.
Is there a way that the users can login with cache credentials even if the
network cables are connected and DC is not reachable. Secondly we need to
have a workaround for the users so that they can also access shared
folders
when the DC is unavailable.
Kindly help me with any possible solution/workaround to the same which we
can tell to the Local MIS teams in the locations.
Thanks
Sukhwinder
