Re: RPC Service

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I'm not sure what you will be able to do in DSRM. Florian brings up a good
idea with the sc command. If you boot back into standard mode can you stop
all the dependency services before atetmpting to make the change. Click on
the dependencies tab within services on the RPC service. I have no direct
experience with this issue so it is a whole bunch of what happens when

Hi Every Body, this is my scenario:

1 DC with:
- Windows server 2003 Standard SP2, AD, APP Server, SQL Server, DNS,
WINS,
MSDTC, SQL Sincronization between other internet SQL server, Mobile
applications are running on this server too.

A user on my network change the user logon for RPC from NT
AUTHORITY\network
services to another user in this server. In this moment all services
for
AD,
APP Server, DNS, WINS are down, doesn´t work. I can't change properties
from
services.msc because the services properties windows no open. The error
number when i try to start any service is Error 1068: The dependency
service
or group failed to start. How can i do to restore the normal operation
on
my
network for AD/DS services?

Thanks in advance,

Andres Rojas
