Still battling this server...should I also remove ALL references to the
orphan DC in DHCP scopes (i.e. DNS, DHCP)? I have removed the WINS
replication partnership as suggesed in Ace Fekey's post. I just want to be
certain everything is in line prior to starting metadata cleanup.
Hi obnetadmin,
I have a question regarding your question - If the server no longer exists, and it won't be returning to the infrastructure, do you think it's prudent to keep its reference in the DHCP scope regarding it as a DNS and WINS address even though it no longer exists?
