how can i setup my Active directory running on win2003 server that allows my client computers to be able to connect even if Active directory server is not avaiable?
Mark is right. Once a user has successfully authenticated on a machine once, she can re-login on that machine even if no DC is around. That's what cached credentials can do.
Due to the logon and security architecture, she won't be able to access any services or other servers. You need Active Directory to access other services.
Cheers,
Florian
