Hello abckid,
If i understand you correct the computername is used the same for 2 different machines? Do you talk about imaged computers which are added to the domain without being sysprepped, it sounds like that.
Then ofcourse the error will go after rejoining, but it should appear again if you do the same again.
Best regards

Hi,
Thanks for reply.
It is Windows XP PC. Is it not a DC. I think it has nothing to do with
the Userenv - 1030 & 1058 errors. I have re-joined the PC to the
domain and the errors related to it are not coming now.
Thanks,
abc.

Hello abckid,
Please describe more detailed:
There were 2 machines.
- First one with same name/ip added to domain.
- Then shutdown first one and bring second one on with same name/ip
and add
to domain.
- Then later shutdown second one and start the first one.
Are that DCs that you have replaced with new hardware? Are they
installed from an image or backup?
Best regards

Hi,

and add

- Then later shutdown second one and start the first one.
This is why we were getting such errors. I removed and joined the
machine (MTCCSAPROUTER) to the domain and those errors are not
coming.
but Userenv - 1030 & 1058 are still coming every 5 minutes.
The policy for which it is giving access denied error is the Default
Domain Policy. I can access the gpt.ini to the UNC path -
"\\MTCCDOM.COM\sysvol\MTCCDOM.COM\Policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-
00 C04FB984F9}\gpt.ini". I accessed with my login having Domain
Admin rights.
Thanks,
abc

Hi,I've always found disjoining a machine (MTCCSAPROUTER) and
We have Win2K3 Domain, Single Forest / Single Domain. There are 2

primary DC is fine. In secondary DC i get errors every 5 minutes

I run the dcdiag and netdiag commands, but there are no errors.
Searched
on
google and found various possible problems. The first 2 are the
once
i get
every 5 min.
The 3rd error is related to one the PC which i had installed on 2
machines
with same identical names and IP. I registered one and then
shutdown
due
to
some problem. Then i installed a second machine with same details
and
joined
to the domain. Later i closed the second machine and just plugged
the
first
one back to network. I guess this is why i am getting the errors
from the
computer MTCCSAPROUTER. If i reset the computer account of that
machine,
would it be resolved ?
Can someone guide me to the above errors ?
Thanks and regards,
abc.
rejoining it will clear up the problem. If it persists, I would
have to question how long it has been off the domain or some other
issues preventing communication where het machine password expires.
As for the other issues, the ipconfigs look good, as Meinolf said.
Can you physically connect using a USN to this UNC path?
