can i just move the computer object to the OU but the user object , if i no
want to apply the user configuration ? does it still work ?

Thank you for posting this info.
From what I see, the Audit policy exists and is is linked, but is not being
applied because it is empty (meaning there are not settings changed or made
in it).
Look at this section:
