Re: Time Server-NtpServer Reg Syntax

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hello tkutil,

See this article to modify the registry keys:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816042

When using the command line to specify multiple peers, use a space as the delimiter and enclose them in quotation marks.

What is the proper syntax for entering multiple time servers on a PDC?
If I am using dns names do I use 0x1 or not?
Do I have a space between servers?
Does the space have to be enclosed in quotes for the command line?
Does the space have to be enclosed in quotes if I manualy enter in the
registry?
Right now my NtpServer reg looks like this
0.us.pool.ntp.org 1.us.pool.ntp.org
After using this command
w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:0.us.pool.ntp.org" "1.us.pool.ntp.org
/syncfromflags:MANUAL
And event view says it is working after restarting w32time.
