Re: ADAM Schema Snap In Error

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hi

you can get that error if the account that you are specifying in the
"Connect to ADAM Server" dialog is not an ADAM administrator
account. Is the account that you are using an ADAM Admin?

I have an ADAM instance running, that is working fine for authentication.
I'm trying add some attributes but am unable to connect with the ADAM
Schema
Snap in tool. I have other ADAM instances where I have done this, but on
this one instance I get the error:
The ADAM Server could not be set.
The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist.

I can connect to the Schema Partition via ADSI Edit and the server has
been
restarted.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks
Jim
