Re: static dns and computer accounts

Hello ping5835,

I can not follow you what you are trying to achive. A computer will be joined to the domain with an domain user or domain administrator that has the permission to join it.

Hello ping5835,

What error message do you get when trying to join the domain? Please
post also an unedited ipconfig /all from the DC/DNS server and the
problem client.

I have multiple dns zones and their reverse zones. This zones
(except
_msdcs.domain.org, and other special zones) are statics zones (no
dynamic
updates allowed).
I need require that the ip of a computer can resolve (reverse o
direct) on a
dns server to add a machine account to domain
Example:
computer00 ip 192.168.1.100 wants join to domain but this ip can't
resolve
(reverse or direct) by dns server (not exist "A" record/"PTR"
record)
-->
this client have correct ip of the DNS Server in TCP/IP
Configuration.
then this machine Then it should not be able to join the domain.
If this (computer00.domain.org/192.168.1.100) exist, then it should
be
able to join.
Any policy group to do this??? or It is possible to do of another
form??

Thanks.
