Re: Delegation to create user accounts only and not disable or delete

Hello Aja44,

Choose the "create custom task to delegate" (radio Button) click next
select the "This folder, existing objects in this folder, and creation of
new objects in this folder" (radionbutton option) click next
Select checkbox "Creation/deletion of specific child objects" and below on
"permissions:" (Very Important) Make sure you scroll down and check the
'create user objects" checkbox and (make sure nothing else is checked) click
next
verify the user permission just granted make sure it is "Create User
Objects"
Click finish and you are done

Hpe this helps

Hi,
I have gone ahead and delegated the ability for a teacher to create,
delete
and manage users accounts within a single OU in our AD. I then installed
AdminPak on that teachers computer and all seems to be working fine.
Administration has found out that this teacher has been disabling user
accounts and not allowing them to work. I have been asked to make changes
to
only allow the teacher to create user accounts and not be able to disable
or
delete them. When I run the delegationt tool I only see the option to
create, delete or manage user accounts. I see their is an option to
"Create
a Custom Task", but dont know enough to set this correctly. Can someone
help?
