they are separate for the moemnt, thats why i need 2 isa servers isntead of one, 2 ghostsrvers, instead of one.
Is there no way to have like a top domain with only the isa server in , and 2 subdomains for the administrations and the students?

regards,
N.

Hello Paul Bergson [MVP-DS],

According to your previous posting it sounds really better to separate them complete. Thanks for the info's.

Meinolf,
In a school environment it is a really bad idea to have the two
domains in
the same forest and even worse to have them in the same domain.

Hello nico,

If you not have the need for two domains just use one. I would use
ADMT to integrate the domain with the less machines to the other
domain. Test the migration in a lab before starting.

Or maybe the faster solution with only 15 clients, move the clients
to the other domain, create new user accounts for the users and also
join the TS to the other domain and reconfigure it and that domain.
Depends on your needs.

Hello,

we have now 2 domains @ our school
1. administration 1 terminal 2003server with AD and 15 clients
domain1.com
2. studenten 200 clients and 1 win2003server with AD
domain2.com
when we try to integrate a server(isa, ghost,.....) we always have
the
problem it needs to join a domain, and it can't b both!!!!
We are considering 1 domain for the seperate networks, but what is
the best solution for that, I heard about subdomains and forests, is
that maybe something?

Tx for any info.

regards
Nico.
