Dear All,

We have a serious issue with the Offline Files. We are in process of
consolidating the domain. We have migrated the users from one domain
to another and copied the old profile to the new one. We are trying
to make some of the shared folders offline but it is giving the error
as Access Denied. We are able to do the same thing from different
site for the same file shares but not from any computer in the same
site.

We have checked the file permission and provided the write access to
everyone on the Shared and NTFS permissions. It is not related to the
access as we ae able to perform the activity from other computers
with the same user account but not in some of the computers.

We are really in the urgent requirement for the same.

This might not be the right forum for this question but I need quick
help on this

Please help us with the solution

How did you copy the profiles over? Did you manually do it using User Profiles secition in System properties on each machine individually, or copied the Users home folder share? Keep in mind, the Creator Owner is on all files a user creates and is associated with the SID of the user on the ACL of the file and folder. If you copied using the User Profiles section, and did not allow the new user to use the profile, that could be an issue. Another possible way around it is to turn off offline files on that machine, restart, delete the windows\CSC folder, make sure the new user can access the copied data, then turn it on again and watch what happens.
