Setting up a trust between both sites per your response would require I setup a forest/domain trust, ok understood.

My goal is to have AD users from Company B replicated over to my company, but the only thing required is usernames/passwords to stay up to date when something is changed on Company B. Not clear on the universal group, but if I understand you correctly, this is required to allow logins to work for my sharepoint site? Or to just add all users that will have access to the site?

If you try to achive that company A's user can connect to the sharepoint sites of company B, i think you have to create a trust between the forests and configure universal groups(including the company A users) that will get access to the sharepoint. Maybe i did not understand you correct, but it sounds like that for me. Feel free to correct me.

We would like and of course not sure if it is possible to setup a
system that allows company A to connect to company B's active
directory to allow replication of all AD accounts in order to manage
usernames/passwords for our sharepoint site program.

Can someone point me to the right direction, or please give me a brief
description of how and where do I start from to accomplish such task?
If all possible.
