Not necessarily - as long as you specify its network location - although
placing it on the authenticating domain controller might make sense in a
distributed environment, to ensure that the file is "close" to the user's
location. However, you might want to reconsider using reg file for registry
modifications and create a custom Admin Template for this purpose instead...

Does the reg file that is referenced in the script need to go in the
Scripts
folder in SYSVOL where my script is as well ?
