Re: SID not resolving to Username



Thanks to both of you for your suggestions. The issue was actually
caused by a service on the machine being disabled.
Since this was a Windows 2000 box, it has the "TCP/IP NetBios Helper
Service". This was, for some reason, disabled.
The description on the service reads, "Enables support for NetBIOS
over TCP/IP (NetBT) service and NetBIOS name resolution."

Once I started this service it worked like a charm.
