when the user logs on it will be prompted to change the PW no matter the PW policy.

Thanks for your prompt response. So, the new user can always logon any time regardless of the 90 days password change policy. He can still logon to the system after 90 days and is still required to change password after the first logon. Thanks.

Hi
For that new user the password will expeire when he/she attemps to logon.
If he/she never logs on, makes no difference because the setting will no go away.

We are running Active Directory on Windows 2003 server. When we setup a new user account, we also setup so that the users are required to change the password at the next logon. We also have a policy for password change every 90 days. If this new user does not login at all, does his password expire after 90 days? Thanks.
