Luiz, have you logged on using local Administrator account? If so, this
would be the reason that the GPO you configured does not take effect (it
applies only to domain users whose accounts reside in a container to which
you linked that GPO)

Hi,
I have a question about applying policy in W2K3 and W2K8 an its action in
administrator account, if anyone could help me I appreciate:
- I have applyed a GPO in an OU and in Security Filtering I put the
Security
Group where has users to bolck some Windows XP resources like Control
Panel
access.
The policy is applyed to users in that group.
Then, I tested then OU applying the Security Filtering to Authenticated
Users but when I logged as Administrator the GPO is not applyed.
My question is, whatever GPO is applyed, the administrator account will
not
be affected by the policy in W2K3?
If it is true, in W2K8 occurs too?
If anyone can help I appreciate.
Regards.
Luiz
