sounds name resolution problems or/and FW configurations.
Check:
-DNS configuration on DC/DNS and workstations (make sure that you can acees using ping and FQDN)
-If using different subnets, check WINS, and check script configuration for name or IP access.
-What does your script do?

Hi,

I have a problem in a windows 2003 server AD.

The problem is that some computers in my network can´t connect properly to the Domain Server. I have a script running at the strat up of computers and it shows an error message saying Domain doesn´t exist or is unavailable.

In the other hand, as this computer is also a file server, I tried to connect to it with \\servername and it works correctly. I can ping the server and use other services from it like nslookup, as this is a DNS server as well.
