Hello Luiz,
Trusts

To start would have to establish dns connectivity both ways, usually the easiest thing to do would be to create secondary's of each others primary.

Once established you can then go and create your forest trust, a forest trust this establishes a two way trust.

When you establish a trust you can then provide access to objects from one domain to the other depending upon what specific access you want to grant. But at no time will a user from one domain be allowed to logon to the other domain, users still belong to there own domain.

Hi,

I have some questions about Trust between two domains, if anyone could
help
me I appreciate:
- I have one domain x.lab and y.local and I want the users from both
domains
can get/access some resources from both sides and ping each other. To
do that
I must configure the forwarder option to point to both DNS servers (x
and y)
and create a global group in each domain and then put it in a
universal
group, is that right?
Another question, when I make the Trust in my authentication window
doesn´t
appear the x.lab or y.local, does it?
Thanks for while.

Regards.

Luiz
