Proxy override

Can anyone tell me if the address's you put in the ProxyOverride option in
Internet Explorer include https e.g. if I put www.xyz.com it will overridde
the proxy setting for http and https connections or just http? If it's just
http can I override https by putting in the https prefix or something?

How can I override http and https for a ipadress range like
165.28.0.0/255.255.0.0
