RE: Modify permissons on users directories

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi there, you need to use a tool called xcacls.exe either download it from
microsoft or its in the server 2003 support tools i think. download from
microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318754

If you run it with the correct parameters you can add the admi group without
altering any other permissions. Good luck.

Hi,
I've created 2000+ home directories using a script. The script created
directories with each user as the owner of its folder, so it couldn't give
access permission to administrators. How can I append the permissions for the
admin group without changing other permissions. As i understand, if they
inherit permissions from the main users folder it will remove user rights to
its own folder.
Thanks in advance
Alex
